Even if one of our dietitians does not accept your insurance we always encourages you to check with your carrier to verify if you have any out-of-network coverage. If your insurance does provide out-of-network for coverage for nutritional counseling, we are happy to set you up with the appropriate paperwork for you to submit to them directly for reimbursement. We cannot submit directly on your behalf – we can only supply you with the appropriate paperwork.


Do I have nutritional counseling coverage on my insurance plan?
If the insurance company asks for a CPT (procedure) code please provide them with the following numbers 97802 and 97803.

Will my diagnosis be covered?
Diagnosis codes range depending upon what you are coming in for but often include Z71.3. This code is used by us for preventative coverage when medically necessary.
